Praxis
Sadhanaसाधना
Sustained practice — the move from knowledge to experience that the knowledge architecture is built to end in.

Definition
Sadhana is the disciplined practice a tradition prescribes, and the word covers everything from daily observance to the long arc of a practitioner's life.
In the structure of this section it is the last of four: Yantra gives structure and symbol, Tantra gives philosophy and framework, Mantra gives sound and awareness, and Sadhana is where those become lived rather than studied.
Zusammenhang
Traditionelle AuslegungThe traditions are consistent that practice is cumulative and that its results are not primarily experiences to be collected. They are equally consistent that it is undertaken within a relationship of transmission rather than assembled privately from texts.

What this section does and does not provide
Moderne ForschungThis section describes practice frameworks and their context. Where material is lineage-specific or requires initiation, it is identified as such and references are given instead of procedures. Members recording their own practice do so in the private journal, which no member other than its author can read.
