Вопросы и ответы

Will I get an 80G certificate for my donation?
Yes. A receipt is issued as soon as the payment settles, and the 80G certificate follows once the Trust files its Form 10BD return for the year. Both appear under Your giving in your account, and both can be downloaded again at any time.
Do I need a PAN to donate?
Not to donate. You need one for the 80G certificate, because the Income Tax Act requires the Trust to report each donation against the donor’s PAN on Form 10BD. You can add it to your profile before or after giving.
How do I stop a monthly gift?
Open Your giving, then Monthly, and cancel it there. It stops straight away and nothing further is collected. You do not need to contact the bank, and you do not need to write to the Trust.
Can I give to one particular cause or appeal?
Yes. Open the cause or the appeal and give from there, and the gift is recorded against it and counts towards the figure shown on its page. Giving from the Donate screen without choosing one puts it in the general fund, where the Trust decides where it is most needed.
Do I need an account to read anything?
No. Everything the Trust publishes — the writing, the knowledge base, courses, events, the gallery — is open without signing in. An account is for the things that are yours: your giving, your receipts, your practice journal, your tickets.
How do I close my account?
Profile, then Settings, then Delete account. The app shows you exactly what is removed and what the Trust is obliged to keep before it asks you to confirm. It closes immediately and cannot be restored afterwards.
How do I get my ticket after registering?
It is in the app under Your tickets, with the code the volunteer at the door scans. Nothing needs to be printed. If a place was not available you are put on the waiting list and told if one opens.
What happens after I offer to help?
The offer is recorded against that opportunity and the team gets in touch. You can see where each of your offers stands under Your volunteering — applied, matched, scheduled or completed — and a certificate is issued once the work is done.
Why does some material carry a notice about a teacher?
Because it is lineage-specific or asks for initiation the reading alone does not give. The Trust says so above the text rather than withholding it: the notice is the honest thing, and hiding the material would make the platform the judge of who is ready.
What do the labels above each passage mean?
They say which kind of claim the passage is making — what the tradition holds, what a text records, what history shows, what research suggests, and what a decoded reading proposes. Three sentences that look alike on the page can be three different kinds of statement, and flattening them is the one thing this section exists not to do.
